Lasers produce extremely intense light which can damage the retina.

Students should wear eye protection and NEVER LOOK directly at the laser beam.

Tripping hazard

Darkened laboratory – beware of tripping hazards as you will be working in the dark.

Ensure there is nothing on the floor which could be a hazard and make sure you only have the necessary equipment and apparatus on your work place.
